Nourishing Flow Yoga for Women
Melanie began her yoga journey about 5 years ago and fell in love with the power of yoga and the liberation it can bring to people. Yoga feels amazing for the body, but there's more to it than that. It enables people to return to their authentic selves and to their centre. It allows people to take a moment of peace and calm and to reconnect with themselves so that they can, quite simply, lead a more peaceful, positive and empowered life. Through her classes Melanie yearns to create a safe space that enables others to feel this simple freedom and allows people to be able to have a moment of pure bliss by working with the breath to re-align the body, mind and soul.
Please arrive a little early to ensure the class can start on time. We have a limited number of yoga mats available, but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring it. You may wish to bring a bottle of water and a blanket.
Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing with Alison
*This class has changed scheduled - now running Thursdays 10.30-11.30*
Build strength and flexibility whilst reconnecting with your mind and body. These classes are nurturing and accessible to all, with gentle movements focusing on building up your balance and a natural place of calm that you can return to, even when everything else feels unstable. There is no physical contact made with anyone else during the session and we each explore the movements in our own space.
The classes offer a space to learn and explore the sequence within ourselves, combining movement, stillness and flow, helping us into a more calm and balanced state of being. We also include seated relaxation and mindfulness practises in every session to deepen our experience of self awareness.
Please wear loose-fitting clothes to enable you to move freely.

(please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start)
Research shows that practicing yoga can have a profound impact on our relationship with our bodies, our ability to cope with stress, and even our personal relationships. Learning to listen to your body and to be at ease in your skin is an essential part of healing from trauma. Yoga allows us to reconnect, to listen to what we really need, and to find stillness and calm within.
Rae is a qualified yoga teacher who teaches at studios throughout Cardiff and brings a unique style to her classes. These sessions are suitable for complete beginners – just wear comfortable clothes which you can move in. Mats and props are provided (but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them).
