Here at Cardiff Women’s Aid we have a youth worker who works within most of Cardiff High Schools to raise awareness of domestic abuse to young people. These are usually delivered in PSE lessons and aim to give young people information about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
The lessons are designed to get young people working together and are based around group work, so that young people can work with their friends to learn more about domestic abuse.
We also work in partnership with Barnardo’s to provide information about homelessness and how that can affect young people.
Look out for us at your school, we do lessons in year 7 to 13.
