Causing Harm to Someone You Love

Cardiff Women’s Aid does not offer any services that can help perpetrators of abusive behaviour to stop but there are services available online and elsewhere.

Respect (http://www.respect.uk.net/) has a lot of information about the nature of abuse. It can help you understand that violence is a choice, and that it causes an enormous amount of harm. They also provide a free advice line. They offer advice to male and female perpetrators as well as people in same-sex relationships.

Hidden Hurt (http://www.hiddenhurt.co.uk/Abuser/abusive_help.htm) can also provide a lot of help if you feel that you might be being abusive and want to choose to stop.
